Landscape Design

Create and restore landscapes for future generations

Historic landscape restoration and new landscape creation

We regularly assist landscape architects and private and public clients with the management of trees in landscape design projects including creating or restoring parkland areas on estates, producing planting plans around new buildings and developments, and managing existing trees within a new landscape design.

Our sensitivity and understanding of natural and historic landscapes benefits clients in both rural and urban settings. Our advice and recommendations take into account the setting’s historical, ecological and landscape significance, as well as current and likely usage.

Planting Plans

Whether for a new design or as part of a restoration project, we can asssist with new planting design and specification which will enhance the setting and support biodiversity. Sensitive planting can also be used to screen developments on or adjacent to a site, and The Tree and Woodland Company have considerable experience with such projects.

Project Management

Landscape masterplans need sound project management. The Tree and Woodland Company’s professional contract management service includes production of detailed specifications and contract documents, tendering to established contractors for competitive quotes and contractor liaison and supervision as necessary throughout a project.

Implementation

We implement projects for clients as required, including sourcing nursery stock, clearance and new planting using our specialist planting teams to establish, protect and maintain trees and shrubs.
