Overseeing the running of the business, delivery of estates and historic landscape work.

Experience:

28 years in the arboricultural industry.

Qualifications:

RFS Professional Diploma in Arboriculture.
Arboricultural Association:Technician’s Certificate in Arboriculture.
NCH Arboriculture.
BA Hons Geography.

:
  • Andrew loves mountain biking and regularly partakes in enduro and downhill challenges.
  • He’s a fan of Bushcraft – especially carving tools!
  • Apparently, there’s nothing nicer than sleeping in the treetops with the aid of tree hammocks (although never whilst working!)
  • He’s a big fan of cricket – especially recent world cup finals!!  And as a result, can often be found perusing the sports section of the newspaper.

Main responsibilities:

Project and team management; delivering a broad range of arboricultural services.

Experience:

Richard has a breadth of arboricultural experience having worked in environmental consultancy for over 10 years with a background of tree contracting and local authority tree preservation work. He is our in-house specialist on development and planning related projects.

FdSc Arboriculture, University of Central Lancashire –
Professional Member, of the Arboricultural Association
Associate Member, of the Institute of Chartered Foresters
LANTRA Professional Tree Inspection Certificate
QTRA registered user

Richard
:
  • Richard can’t get enough of Fell walking in the Lake District - old favourite is scrambling in the Langdale Pikes.
  • He loves to put on his grandfather’s braces and head down the allotment; courgettes have done well this year and fritters are the family favourite!
  • Thinks long journeys aren’t the same without an Audio Book – latest is John Steinbeck’s ‘Travels with Charley’.
  • Is rather partial to a Ploughman’s lunch (definitely after a long walk).

Arboricultural surveys and related reports primarily for hazard assessment and for planning and development.

Experience:

Over 5 years industry experience, working as a contractor and private consultant.

Qualifications:

BSc (Hons) Arboriculture, LANTRA Professional Tree Inspection, QTRA Registered User, NPTC Tree Climbing and Aerial Rescue qualification.

James
:
  • James is a huge supporter of Stoke City Football Club.
  • His favourite tipple is a pint of the wonderful Titanic Brewery Plum Porter Beer.
  • He's a bit of gamer and enjoys taking part in Rocket League.
  • James is a keen sportsman and takes part in triathlon events and has taken part in the stunning Blenheim Palace Triathlon!
  • Whilst not running, cycling or swimming he can be found enjoying walking and films.

Main responsibilities:

Managing and manipulating data to produce CAD plans and GIS maps for reports and analysis.

Experience:

Chris has worked for various landscape design practices, planners, local authorities and universities.

Qualifications:

Studied GIS and Cartography at post grad level and gained further qualifications and skills whilst in industry.

  • He’s visited every college at Oxford University as part of my previous role.
  • Chris has been known to lead dry stone walling weekends in the Cotswold's.
  • He’s worked on atlases for a major publisher.
  • Chris likes to cycle and has cycled the whole of the Ridgeway.
  • Even though he was born in Blackpool, he doesn’t like roller-coasters. Chris went to art college in London in the 80’s…very glamorous!

Bookkeeper

Main responsibilities:

Keeping the accounts and administration order and generally organising us all.

Experience:

over 20 years of accounts experience.

  • She enjoys live music.
  • Claudette plays darts for a local team. (she says not very well but we suspect otherwise!)
  • She likes to go to the cinema and bowling here and there and is definitely a film junkie.
  • As part of an apprenticeship at Moreton Morrell college she rode a horse owned by Nigel Twisten Davies.
  • She works for the Air Ambulance service where she once met Simon Le Bon!

Main responsibilities:

All areas of digital, email and print marketing along with maintaining good public relations and event planning.

Experience:

17 years in Marketing and business development.

Qualifications:

Many relevant skills whilst working in industry plus a BSc in Microbiology.

Nadine

  • She’s a keen baker and loves creating her own recipes…the office enjoys eating them!
  • However, she’s a less keen runner but feels it’s necessary to balance the baking.
  • Nadine has travelled around much of Africa and loves being in the wilderness.
  • She hates suspended rope bridges.
  • Over the years she has been to hundreds of concerts and festivals.
  • She’s one of those people who can’t sit still and always has to be busy!!
